If You’ve Poked a Hole Through Your Collar Point

In an effort to get your collar point nice and sharp, you’ve accidentally poked a hole completely through it. What to do?

Turn the collar inside out. Reinforce the collar point by applying a piece of lightweight fusible interfacing to it. Re-sew the collar seam at the point so that the hole now falls outside of the new seam. Sew a new seam on the other side so that the sides will look symmetrical. Then trim, clip, and press the seam allowances as usual.
